Description.
Vascular circulation problems occur when the blood vessels are constricted or slightly obstructed. This could be due to tension in the connective tissue around the blood vessels, which causes diminished blood flow.
Causes.
Causes for vascular circulation problems may include poor circulation due to coronary heart disease, Raynaud’s disease, hypothyroidism, frostbite, working with vibrating equipment, side effect of medications, underlying diseases that affect blood flow to the skin (female smokers are prone to this), and stress.
